- Scales infinitely (one creation, unlimited sales)
- Can sell it on: your email list, social media, dedicated platform
Most sustainable approach: Do both
- Keep doing high-end service work ($1,500-$5,000 per project, 1-2 per month)
- Sell lower-cost product to broader audience ($100-$300, unlimited sales)
Example: $1,500 service project (10 hours) + $5,000/month from product sales = $6,500/month from 15-20 hours of work
This saves you time and mental energy when you're low on creativity or too busy to create.
